Billy's story

Billy has wanted to build a company that makes a difference since he was a kid. He just didn't know what it would be yet.

That changed when he moved to Florida. He saw what hurricanes can do to homes that aren't properly protected, and what that does to the families living inside them: the lost belongings, the insurance battles, the months of feeling unsafe in their own house. He knew this was the industry where he could make that difference.

He spent almost a decade at kitchen tables up and down Florida's west coast, helping homeowners work through some of the biggest and most important decisions they'll ever make on their home. Roofs, windows, doors, and siding aren't impulse buys. They're about keeping your family safe, and people deserve someone who'll give them the full picture and real options.

Along the way, he noticed something. It's rare to find contractors who are great at their trade, honest and kind people, and sound business owners, all at once. Plenty are one or two. Very few are all three. And homeowners pay the price when they're not.

So he decided it was time to bet on himself and go all in on the dream he'd had since he was a kid.

Steve's story

Steve has spent 17+ years in construction, installing and overseeing projects in Maryland, Texas, and, for the last seven years, Florida.

Over that time he saw how a lot of big companies treat their customers once the contract is signed: rushed crews, missed details, and homeowners left chasing someone to call them back. He set out to build a company that actually does right by people.

Today Steve oversees every Red Sky install, making sure the work behind the walls and under the shingles is done the way he'd want it done on his own home.
